Ouzoud Waterfalls
Day Trip from Marrakesh or the Ouirgane Valley
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Visit of the famous Ouzoud waterfalls
- Take a swim in the natural 'pools'
- Meet the Barbary apes
- Lunch with the view of the waterfalls
We will start with a 3 hours drive north of Marrakesh by crossing the Tadla plains dotted with hundreds of olive tree farms. Of course we will make a stop at both directions. Upon arrival at the village, we begin our walking downhill to the sources while admiring the splendid views of the 110 m high cascades of Ouzoud with a permanent rainbow as a backdrop
En route, some local Barbary apes, that do expect some nuts from you, will greet you along the way! Local cafés are available next to the stream for a light lunch and to relax before you walk up to the village.
On the way to the cafés there are some little natural pools to jump in and refresh yourself – so don’t forget your towels!

Notes:
- We will leave at about 9am and will be back at about 6pm. Times are estimated and can vary according to season and your wishes.
- Don't forget sunglasses, sunprotection etc. and wear comfortable clothes.
- Good trainers are required
