Day 2: Ouzoud Waterfalls - Tabant

Early breakfast and check-out to start the trip to the wonderful waterfalls of Ouzoud, in the Atlas mountains. The waterfalls of Ouzoud are one of the most surprising attractions in all Morocco, situated about 150 kilometers north-east of Marrakech, next to the village of Tanaghmeilt. After lunch, we continue our way to the Aït Bouguemez valley – also called the 'Happy Valley' -, at an altitude of 1800 up to 2300 meters, in the heart of the Haut Atlas Central. It’s a fairytale landscape of farmers’ fields, characteristic adobe villages. Tabant, the main village in the valley hosts an excellent Sunday market.

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 3: Full day walk thru Ait Bouguemez Valley

After breakfast, we start our full day walk through Ait Bouguemez.

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 4: Tabant - Kelaa M'Gouna - Dades Gorge

After breakfast, we continue our trip, along the piste from Tabant to Kelaa M'Gouna, having lunch picnic in this spectacular landscape. From Kelaa M'Gouna we head directly to the famous Gorges de Dades, our today's destination. The valley of the Gorges de Dades is about 25 kilometers long and is situated between Boumalne and Imdiazen. It is also known as the Road of the 1000 Kasbahs. You will find kasbahs and dispersed settlements with vegetable gardens along the route, as well as fortified oasis with a spectacular view on groves of palm trees, which is an extreme contrast to the red soil. Most of the kasbahs are still inhabited and present themselves in different colors: white like chalk, the red of the soil and dark-green. You must by no means miss the sunset: the Gorges de Dadès seems to be magic!

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 5: Dades - Imilchil - Dades

Today our route continues to Imilchil. This village is representing the culture of all the Berbères Amazigh and is situated at an altitude of about 2.100 m and is well know for its Wedding Festival, which takes place every autumn. After having enjoyed our lunch in the village, we return to our hotel in Dades valley.

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 6Dades - Merzouga - Camp de Luxe

After breakfast we continue our way to via Rissani and Erfoud to Merzouga, situated at the entry of the desert. But before we meet our camels, we will be visiting a family, making Gnaoua music. After this little concert, we ride on our camels to the camp (for those who prefer – it is also possible to go by 4X4 to the camp). Here we will spend the night, all tents are equipped with shower and WC. Climb on top of the dunes and enjoy the sunset!

After dinner you can listen to the drums and the songs of the local staff under the starry sky! A magical experience!

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 7: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou

If you want to admire the sunrise in the desert, you have to wake up early and climb on top of the dunes. It is really worth to get up early! After breakfast, you can try sandboarding down the dunes. And then we have to return on the camel (or in 4X4) to continue our trip by minibus. The next stop will be at a camel farm, where you have the opportunity to taste some fresh camel milk. Lunch we will have en-route before arriving at Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. We drive on to Aït Benhaddou.

Overnight stay on half-board.

Day 8: Ait Benhaddou - Kasbah de Telouet - Tizi N'Tichka - Marrakesh

After breakfast we will visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, and have enough time to explore the fortified village (ksar), which is a great example of earthen clay architecture. Films like 'Game of Thrones', 'Gladiator', 'Marco Polo', 'Son of God' and many more have been shot here. Now we already start our way back to Marrakech. On the way we will visit the Kasbah de Telouet and we cross the High Atlas Mountains at the mountain pass of Tizi N'Tichka at an altitude of 2.260m. Lunch en route and arrival in the Riad at Marrakech at about 6pm.
